Holistic Evaluation Beyond Rote Learning
Assessment at IATV Educational Academy is a constructive tool designed to identify learning gaps, nurture conceptual mastery, and cultivate higher-order critical thinking. In accordance with CBSE regulations, we assess students in both Scholastic and Co-Scholastic areas.
Comprehensive Summative Examination
Conducted at the close of each academic term / year testing full syllabus coverage, analytical synthesis, case-based questions, and problem-solving prowess on standard CBSE blueprints.

Breakdown of Internal Assessment (20 Marks)
Each subject teacher evaluates students based on 4 uniform components prescribed by the Central Board of Secondary Education.
1. Periodic Tests
Three written periodic tests are administered annually. Average of the best two test scores is scaled to 5 marks for final compilation.
2. Multiple Assessment
Diverse assessment formats including oral quizzes, concept mapping, classroom exit cards, interactive group discussions, and visual presentations.
3. Student Portfolio
Systematic collection of student work demonstrating growth, notebook maintenance, neatness, peer reviews, and self-assessment reflections.
4. Subject Enrichment
Language ASL (speaking & listening tasks), Science laboratory experiments and records, Mathematics lab activities, and Social Science projects.
CBSE Scholastic 8-Point Grading Scale
Grades awarded based on percentage of aggregate marks achieved in each subject.

Co-Scholastic Assessment & Discipline
Students are assessed on a 5-Point Grading Scale (A to E) for attitudes, values, health, and physical fitness.

Socially Useful Productive Work (SUPW), computer applications, classroom craftsmanship, and community service.
Art Education
Visual art, classical & folk performing arts, creativity, sense of aesthetics, and cultural heritage appreciation.
Health & Physical Fitness
